Welcome to the Backcountry! Backcountry Outfitters offers private guided South Dakota pheasant hunting, semi-guided prairie dog hunts, and predator hunts in Gregory, South Dakota. Our private lodges is the perfect setting for any group of 5 or less or if you have the large group/corporate hunt, we have the Buffalo Butte Lodge next door so we can take a total capacity of 30 hunters. Backcountry Outfitters is located in the pheasant golden triangle of Gregory, Winner and Chamberlain and near the cities of Presho, Kennebec, Platte, Pierre, Dallas and a short drive from Mitchell, SD.
